With the New Year comes Top X lists! Around this time of year the web is full of Top X lists from the past year. Top 10 Movies, Top 25 Songs, Top 100 Hottest Celebrities, Top 10 Craziest Celebrities (that’s one of my favorites)… You can even find the Worst X lists. Sometimes those can be a little detrimental to one’s self. You find a movie that hardly anyone has seen or knows about and you can’t wait to share it with all your friends as soon as it hits DVD. Then you find it on a Worst 10 Movies list. At that point you have to ask yourself if you are the moron or the guy that wrote this stupid opinionated list that I’m sure wasn’t based on any facts and he probably saw like 3 movies last year. These lists are a great way to catch up on anything you might have missed over the last year. The thing I don’t understand is what kind genius puts the #1 item first in the article. Do you not understand the concept of climax? Who cares about #10 if you already know what #1 is? You have nine rock solid suspense builders and you decide to give away the killer before you even try to get the audience guessing. Foreplay after orgasm just isn’t the same. It’s not even like this is something you have to go to college to learn. Turn on the Late Show and see if Letterman ever starts with #1.
