Bring the Noise at Walmart?
Well, luckily the plan of poker night forced me to do some major cleaning this weekend to get ready and the new place doesn’t look too bad. Although most people already know that. Maybe next time I’ll invite some of the elderly neighbors over for the get-together. My trip to Walmart Friday night turned out to be rather interesting. I was slightly disturbed to hear Public Enemy and Anthrax playing over the friendly Walmart music system. I wouldn’t think the average Walmart shopper would be that into “Bring the Noise” and if they are then I’m guessing they wouldn’t be into what followed, which was “Celebrate”. Walmart is an odd little place and the people working seem to just be irritated at customers getting in their way. The funny thing is I couldn’t find my billfold after going and assumed I through it in a bag. If the lovely folks at McDonald’s would have actually been able to take my order I probably would have realized a lot sooner my billfold was missing. That’s the 3rd time in the last 2 months I’ve tried to eat at McDonald’s cause it was the only place open and they were unable to take my order. They may need to rethink what open 24 hours means. Anyway, I decided to call Walmart to see if they happened to have my billfold and luckily they did. That is one more hassle I don’t need to deal with right now, so thank you to the nice person that found it and turned it in. I was all excited for closing day because I thought I’d actually have some money. I was planning to take care of all my bills and start with a clean slate and no debt after struggling with money for quite some time with everything changing in life over the last few years. I really am only using a small portion of the pay off to take care of the credit card and most of the money is going to in to savings for a down payment on a new home. Apparently the plan to sit back and wait to get my money takes longer than expected. I’m kind of curious as to where the money is because it is not in my checking account. I guess this is another example of me thinking one thing was going to happen and something else happened.

Well it may take longer to get your money from the house..but hey someone did turn in your wallet. So that is a good positive because closing all your cards..driver license…hell even your social security card would have been like a 2 month bag of fun.
Poker night was also fun!
POKER!! Was that what we were playing? No wonder I lost all my chips.
Sincerely,
Silent Rob
