Well, my vacation is officially over.  It was back to work today for me.  Sounds like I decided to move on just at the right time from the stories I hear.  The new job is very over-whelming at this point.  I think I have about 15 different passwords to remember and nice new laptop and smart phone.  My new laptop is actually far better than the computer I was using to test software with.  Considering the load you can put on a PC while testing and what we were “expected” to do, it’s kind of nice being some place where they realize the need for computers that are not just “what’s the cheapest thing I can get for my money.”  And real servers and real racks and real UPSes and a real network.  Okay, yes, still very over whelming but they said it will take months before you feel like you know what is going on.  I’m not sure about this smart phone though, I don’t really know how to use it.  I’ve been so anti-cell phones and PDAs for so many years.  I guess it is time to learn.  I think I may be slightly stressed out and it probably doesn’t help that I feel like my spine and neck are no longer inline.

So, I’ve realized I need to change my tactics here.  I tend to not post until I feel I have a lot to post about but I also realize long posts are not much fun to read.  Although, crossing posting it MySpace is a pain so I don’t like posting a lot.  MySpace needs a way to auto-blog from your RSS feeds although at this point enough people probably know about this site that I don’t really need to do that anymore.  Plus, with RSS feeds it’s easier to get this content out than what MySpace has to offer.
