Let the Negotiations Begin
I must say I’ve had a pretty peaceful weekend so far. It may be from the weather… the calm after the storms. A nice quiet evening Friday and a good home made dinner. I was home early and got a lot done around the cave. Saturday was busy but I got a lot accomplished. I went house hunting again and met up with my agent to make an offer today. Still not getting my hopes up since the house is way over priced for the area. Rob came and fixed my wheels and taught me I’m dumb cause I didn’t know I had to close the new valves on my tubes. I got my LED keyboard light project done. I may not be able to change a wheel on my bike with crappy levers but I can solder and heat shrink like a pro. The MMA fights on CBS were actually pretty entertaining even on my rabbit ears. It is is always sad when the weekend is starting to come to a close and it is back to work. I think a 4 days at 10 hours work week would be much better so the weekend could be longer. I never quite get done everything I plan to but I didn’t really spend any money this weekend so that is good. All that is left is heading out for fishing this evening and that doesn’t cost anything but gas.
The deadline for the house offer is Monday at 5:00. I’m already anxious for the counter offer. The thing about buying a house is the price is never where you really want it to be. In this case, the house is listing for about an extra $8 per square foot for that area. That’s about $10,000 to high and that is a lot of money, especially when you don’t have someone helping you paying the rent/mortgage. It will be exciting to have a house again, even if it is only a block and a half away from the old house. Can’t get my hopes up though, there’s a lot of negotiating left I think. But… if all goes well, keep the weekend of June 28th open because I’ll be moving again!

Just to clarify I merely conveyed the information about the valves needing to be closed in order to keep the air in the tubes, any correlation the author took to being dumb because of it was his own I neither stated nor implied it.
Yea… I know… I said I was dumb. I thought it was odd you could let the air out so easily, who knew.
