I’m curious what all these trendy people are going to do when they’re old. You know the earrings that spread out your ear lobe. People start at one size and slowly move up and eventually have a hole the size of a quarter. Isn’t that going to be like that forever? A prime example would be Maria Brink. Attractive girl if you don’t mind the tattoos but some day I have a feeling those ears are just going to look messed up. Like Dumbo ears with holes in them. I just can’t imagine an old person with giant holes and ear lobes dangling in the wind… kind of disturbing.

Less than 48 hours until closing. I wish I could make the time go faster but I don’t have the time I wish I had to pack so I guess having two days is okay. I wasn’t really planning to move as soon as this weekend but it seems like the logical thing to do at this point.  So… I need movers this Sunday. If you’re bored and need something  to do I’ll have something for you to do. This is your invitation Rob, you may be one of the few people that reads this. I’ll probably hold of getting the Uhaul reserved to see how much packing I get done though. If I get enough packing done in the next two nights then everything should be good for the weekend. I just have a lot of other stuff to get done in the next two nights also. The funny thing is, they’re showing the apartment Wednesday and right now there’s about an 8 foot wall of boxes along the entire living room wall. Packing is about the most unrewarding task.

So here’s the plan for anyone that wants to help at any point.  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I’ll probably be moving boxes and electronics after work in my truck. Saturday I’ll be in Omaha for the air show and then off to NFM to buy some stuff. Sunday I’m planning to have two big trucks and the Uhaul and hopefully it won’t take long to get everything moved if I have enough help. It’s going to be a busy week and my knee still sporadically bends in the wrong direction some times, so this could be interesting.
